ABOUT THIS RESOURCE

This website was developed for use as a practical, point-of-care guide for clinicians within the author’s health care network. It is designed for clinicians engaged in perioperative care or preoperative evaluation and management. It is written from the perspective of an anesthesiologist and perioperativist yet useful for anyone performing  preoperative evaluations or  developing enhanced recovery pathways to optimize a patient’s surgical outcomes. In transitioning to a web-based format, the intent is to share this resource with others and develop  this site as a collaborative resource.  Please send feedback to the editor via the CONTACT US link.
